Richard began his career in 1998 as in-house engineer at Pierce Rooms working with producers like Stephen Fitzmaurice, Tony Visconti, Alan Moulder, Chris Potter, Dave Sardi and Craig Silvie.
Working with the likes of The Rolling Stones, Oasis, Dido, Natalie Imbruglia, The Manic Street Preachers, Santana and Sugababes gave him the experience and ability to become a first choice engineer on many sessions.
Since then he engineered on Hot Chip's album 'The Warning', Paolo Nutini's album 'These Streets', mixed Get Cape, Wear Cape Fly's single 'I Spy' and recorded Amy Winehouse's debut album 'Frank'. More recently he worked on the Magic Numbers' album 'The Magic Numbers', produced Ben Parker's (ex Ben and Jason's frontman) forthcoming album and produced new London based band Ox.Eagle.Lion Man.
He has been in the studio with Dave McCracken working with Forever Like Red and Jim Abbiss with Mattafix, Adele, Van She and The Whip.
