He began his career in 2000 working for Cameron McVey, before going freelance and working at Olympic Studios. His programming credits include Michael McDonald’s ‘Motown 1’, Eric Clapton, BB King, Cream and Zucchero and several 5.1 film projects for producer Simon Climie, Turin Brakes ‘Jackinabox’ album with Spike Stent, Shirley Bassey, Sugababes and Amy Winehouse .
In 2002, Jonathan returned briefly to Australia to co-produce and mix a top 20 album for Festival Mushroom band Elixir.
Jonathan engineered and mixed Jack Peñate's 'Matinee' album with Jim Abbiss. He has also worked with Steve Lillywhite on Crowded House, One Night Only, and on the new U2 album
He has been busy programming and engineering for producer Steve Robson on various projects including Jack McManus, James Morrison, Alice McLaughlin, Take That and more recently The Yeah You's and The Rushes.
Jonathan mixed 6 tracks for the recent James album 'Hey Ma' and has just finished producing EPs for Moray McLaren and The Vibrants.
Jonathan is currently in the studio with Patrick Wolf.
